Accurate public identity

Use the organization's real public name, describe current work accurately, maintain a functioning official website when one is published, and never present GiveCircuit payment as verification or endorsement.

Participant information

Collect only information needed to coordinate the drive. Do not request Social Security numbers, banking credentials, passwords, unnecessary medical details, or unrelated identity documents. Limit access to authorized staff and honor applicable access, correction, and deletion obligations.

Donations

Publish only donation destinations controlled by the organization or its authorized processor. Clearly explain restrictions, receipts, refunds, tax treatment, and goods-delivery expectations. Never route charitable funds through GiveCircuit billing.

Safety and fair treatment

Provide clear eligibility, pickup, cancellation, accessibility, volunteer, and conduct rules. Do not harass, exploit, discriminate against, or retaliate against recipients, volunteers, donors, reviewers, or reporters.

Enforcement

GiveCircuit may request clarification, restrict an external link, hide a public profile, pause registration, suspend access, preserve audit evidence, or remove an organization for unsafe, deceptive, unlawful, or repeatedly noncompliant use.
